Isaiah’s First Haircut

It’s haircut day at my house. Or something like that… My mom, Isaiah and I all got our hair cut this afternoon while we were out. Isaiah seemed to find the whole process pretty interesting. He sat on my lap while the girl cut my hair and watched her. When he started to squirm a bit, she handed him one of her combs. He thought it was the best thing ever.

When my hair was finished, the stylist got out a kid-sized cape for Isaiah and got him ready for his haircut while he was still sitting on my lap. He thought the cape was pretty cool, with its safari animals all over it.

Getting started

Isaiah was wonderful about getting his hair cut! He sat still for the girl. While she cut his hair, he tried to comb mine with the comb she’d handed him earlier. He gave her a couple dirty looks when he thought she was doing something weird.

"What are you doing to me?"

"Combing" my hair

When she was done, Isaiah had an adorable little boy cut. Sadly, his curls are gone, but he sure is cute! The girl put the hair she cut off in an envelope for me so I can put it in Isaiah’s scrapbook. His first haircut went better than I could have ever dreamed!

Finishing touches

Sporting his new look!
